We’re evaluating a 12 acre site in the Green Belt in Kent. We agree with the aims of the Green Belt and, contrary to most people, think it has been a success in keeping areas of countryside around urban areas. Balancing housing need, we discovered and evaluated a site technically in the green belt but next to a commercial area and major road as well as contaminated with building waste. It could never be used for agriculture and we’re working with planners to develop a scheme to put the land to use as most needed by the community.
